MX (Mail Exchanger) records are part of the Domain Name System (DNS) and lets email servers know where to deliver emails to. This is great, but what happens if your server fails. This could be a power failure, a restart after an update or any of an unlimited issues.

Well simply put, you could lose emails and potential business.

To deal with this DNS has an excellent way of dealing with this... Priority.

Priority allows you to have backup mail servers which will accept email if your primary server is down for any reason.

A lot of organisations don't have the resources to 'double up' on hardware just incase the main server has a problem. We can be your backup server, storing emails untill you manage to get your server back up and running. Our backup server will see that your server is back 'up' and automatically send you the emails you would have lost forever.
